About
The Club first gathered in 2005 to provide an opportunity for ‘People in Business’ in Richmond and the surrounding areas to meet. The Club was founded by John Hamblin a local Chartered Accountant a director of Feltons until he retired and Chris Lacey of Barclays Bank who responded to an observation that there were no similar gatherings as those held in Teddington and Twickenham.
The lunches were soon established at La Buvette and supported by the patron Bruce Duckett. The concept was to provide a two course luncheon with liquid refreshment in a lunch time scale 12.30 till 14.30 hours. This allowed an opportunity for interested business people to come and meet ‘Colleagues in Business’ in a time out informal environment from their offices. Historically great friendships and business connections have been established over the years and remain to the present day as well as embracing new enthusiastic ‘People in Business’
The Club’s administration has always been performed by Sally Higgins who provides a good link to all the members and interested parties.
Simplicity has always been the key;
